Privacy Policy

We collect only what is needed to run the service:

• Account details — your name and the email address you register with.
• Business card data — the contact details extracted from cards you upload (name, company, designation, emails, phone numbers, website, address).
• Email settings — the default subject, body and any CC/BCC addresses you configure.
• Billing records — plan purchased, amount, tax breakdown and the payment reference returned by our payment gateway.
• Usage records — credit debits and credits, processing status and timestamps.

Card images are processed transiently to extract text and are never written to our database or file storage. Only the extracted contact fields are saved to your processing history so you can review what was sent.

Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect it, we request only the permission needed to send email on your behalf, and messages are sent from your own Gmail address. Google access tokens are held by our platform's connector layer — we do not store your Google password or refresh tokens in our own database, and we do not read your inbox. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings, and you can also revoke access from your Google Account security settings.

Email sending is off by default. Nothing is sent until you enable sending and approve each message.

To authenticate you, extract contact details from cards you upload, send the emails you approve, maintain your credit balance and purchase history, provide support, and detect or prevent abuse and fraud. We do not sell your data and we do not use your contact data for advertising.

We share the minimum data necessary with providers that operate parts of the service: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, an AI provider used to read the text on uploaded cards, Google (Gmail) for sending your approved emails, and Razorpay for payment processing. Payment card details are entered on the gateway's own checkout and are never received or stored by us.

Processing history and account data are retained while your account is active. Billing and tax records are retained as long as required by law. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing kapil@growwgenie.com.

Access is protected by authentication, and database rules restrict every record to the account that owns it. Administrative actions are checked on the server, not only in the interface. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

You can access and correct your profile from Settings, export or copy your processing history from the History page, and request correction or deletion of your data by contacting us. We respond within 1–2 business days.

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
